Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Greenhouse.am website, mobile applications, IoT devices, AI greenhouse agent, marketplace, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Greenhouse.am (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
By creating an account, connecting IoT devices, placing orders on the marketplace, or otherwise accessing the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Greenhouse.am.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, farm, cooperative, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Greenhouse.am is an integrated greenhouse management platform that provides the following capabilities:
To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
If you create an account for a farm, cooperative, or business, you may invite team members with different access levels. The account owner is responsible for managing permissions and for the actions of all users under that account.
When using the Service, you agree NOT to:
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The entire Greenhouse.am platform—including its business model, architecture, methodology, and approach—is protected intellectual property. Unauthorised reproduction, imitation, or use of any kind is strictly prohibited and will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
The Service and all of its components are the exclusive property of Greenhouse.am and its licensors. This includes, without limitation:

You acknowledge that Greenhouse.am’s integrated approach—combining IoT sensor monitoring, condition-based automation, AI-driven crop advisory, comprehensive resource analytics, and an agricultural marketplace—constitutes valuable trade secrets and confidential business information. Any misappropriation of these trade secrets will be subject to legal action under Armenian law, international intellectual property treaties, and any other applicable jurisdiction.
In the event of any breach of this Section 5, Greenhouse.am reserves the right to:
You retain ownership of content you create on the platform (e.g., marketplace listings, reviews, greenhouse names, custom automation rule descriptions). However, by posting content to the Service, you grant Greenhouse.am a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and use that content as necessary to operate and promote the Service.
The Greenhouse.am marketplace is a platform that connects buyers with sellers of greenhouses, IoT devices, construction services, and software solutions. Greenhouse.am acts as an intermediary and is not a party to the transactions between buyers and sellers, except where Greenhouse.am is the direct seller of its own products or services.
Greenhouse.am provides a dispute resolution process for marketplace transactions. Buyers may file a claim within 14 days of receiving a product or completing a service if the item is materially different from its listing or the service was not performed as described.
Greenhouse.am may charge a commission on marketplace transactions. Current fee structures are disclosed on the marketplace seller dashboard and may be updated with 30 days’ notice to sellers.
The following items and services are prohibited on the marketplace: illegal substances, counterfeit goods, hazardous materials not certified for agricultural use, stolen equipment, services by unlicensed contractors (where licences are required by law), and any item that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Greenhouse.am offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans provide access to advanced features such as expanded sensor history, priority AI recommendations, advanced automation, and enhanced resource reporting. Pricing is published on our website and may be updated with 30 days’ notice.
Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis, as selected during sign-up. Payment is due at the beginning of each billing period. We accept payment methods as displayed during checkout.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided for partial billing periods. For marketplace product purchases, refund policies are determined by individual sellers, subject to our buyer protection policies outlined in Section 6.3.
The free tier of the Service is provided as-is with limited features. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue the free tier at any time.
Greenhouse.am is designed to work with compatible IoT sensor kits and gateway devices (e.g., ESP32-based controllers) available through our marketplace or approved third-party suppliers. We do not guarantee compatibility with non-certified devices.
You are responsible for the proper installation, maintenance, and physical security of IoT devices in your greenhouse. Greenhouse.am provides installation guides and may offer professional installation services through the marketplace. Sensor readings are only as accurate as the hardware and its placement.
We may release firmware updates for supported devices. By using the Service, you consent to receiving automatic over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates designed to improve security, reliability, and functionality. You may opt out of automatic updates through your device settings, but doing so may affect Service performance.
Automation rules you create (e.g., “start irrigation when soil moisture drops below 42%”) execute automatically based on sensor data. You are responsible for configuring automation rules correctly and for the consequences of automated actions on your greenhouse, crops, and equipment. Greenhouse.am is not liable for crop damage, equipment failure, or resource waste resulting from misconfigured automation rules.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Specifically, Greenhouse.am does not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GREENHOUSE.AM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Greenhouse.am in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Greenhouse.am, its founders, directors, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@greenhouse.am or through your account settings. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice if you violate these Terms, particularly (but not limited to) breaches of the Intellectual Property provisions in Section 5 or the Acceptable Use Policy in Section 4.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for the periods specified in our Privacy Policy and delete it thereafter, unless retention is required by law. Any outstanding marketplace obligations (pending orders, payments) must be fulfilled. The provisions of Sections 5 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 11 (Indemnification), and 14 (Governing Law) survive termination.
In the course of using the Service, you may gain access to confidential information, including but not limited to: technical documentation, system architecture details, API design patterns, pricing strategies, business plans, partner agreements, and proprietary methodologies. You agree to keep all such information strictly confidential and not to disclose it to any third party.
You acknowledge that the integrated approach of Greenhouse.am—combining IoT monitoring, automation, AI advisory, resource analytics, and an agricultural marketplace—is a unique and proprietary business proposition. You agree not to use information, insights, or knowledge gained from your use of the Service to directly or indirectly create, develop, fund, advise, or operate a substantially similar competing platform for a period of two (2) years following the termination of your account.
This non-compete provision applies to individuals and entities who had access to confidential technical or business information through partnerships, beta testing, enterprise accounts, API integrations, or any other privileged access arrangement with Greenhouse.am. Standard end-users using the platform solely for greenhouse management are not subject to this non-compete clause, but remain bound by all other intellectual property restrictions in Section 5.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties for a period of thirty (30) days. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the courts of the Republic of Armenia, with the courts in Yerevan having exclusive jurisdiction.
If you access the Service from outside Armenia, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer protection rights that cannot be waived under your local jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice through the Service, email, or our website before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and may request account deletion.
